For those planning to spend time in mainland Southeast Asia (Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam) who need help making their travel plans I offer the following services:

1. I design a custom itinerary based on the time of year you're visiting, number of days, interests and preferences, and then handle the bookings - rooms and domestic/regional transportation, guided activities where needed - for you through a small, independent, westerner-owned, Bangkok-based travel agency I work with. You would be responsible for air transport to Bangkok (the hub for travel to other countries in mainland SE Asia as well).
2. I create an itinerary, then you make all your own bookings (using my recommendations and/or your own sources).
3. A combination of 1 and 2, depending on your preferences.

For film and television crews, I also offer location scouting and location management.

My fee is US$180 per hour for private itinerary consulting, with a two-hour minimum. I can also serve as a guide, escort, facilitator and/or interpreter subject to my availability on the dates you're traveling, in which case I charge US$350 per day plus expenses (discounts for multi-day hire). Payments can be made via PayPal, cheque, wire transfer or cash.
